Taylor Momsen - Country Star Gossip Girl Land Modelling Deals

Country singer RISSI PALMER and GOSSIP GIRL star TAYLOR MOMSEN are set to grace the covers of glossy magazines after signing up as IMG Models.

The two teens can now count Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum as workmates - the two supermodels are also signed to IMG's roster.

Hellboy star Selma Blair and Mischa Barton are also on the agency's books.

As well as giving Nashville, Tennessee native Palmer a break as a model, IMG bosses will also represent her for global endorsement opportunities.

SJP: 'SATC Needed African-American Like Jennifer Hudson'

Sarah Jessica Parker has praised her Sex And The City co-star Jennifer Hudson for bringing new young and black audiences to the much acclaimed franchise.

Oscar winning Hudson plays Carrie’s assistant in the big-screen adaptation of the TV show, and Parker believes the decision of director Michael Patrick King to bring in a youthful African-American was a genius idea.

She explains: "First of all we needed to have a 20-year-old in this movie; we really have to remember that there is a significant audience now that are very, very young.

"It's a great way of reminding people who Carrie was when she came to New York; what was New York, what did it mean to her...And African-American women and women of colour have been a big part of our audience for a long time (and) we really haven't been responsible to them."

And Parker couldn't imagine a better onscreen assistant for her Bradshaw: "She is especially lovely in this movie... She is remarkably beautiful and she's probably about eight inches taller than I am and she is a presence."

Rocky - La Suing Time Warner Cable

The city of Los Angeles is expected to file a lawsuit against Time Warner Cable today
(Thursday) alleging that the company made false and misleading statements to Adelphia
Communications subscribers after it acquired the company in 2006, the Los Angeles Tim
es reported today. In a 25-page lawsuit, City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo claims
that the New York-based cable provider violated its franchise agreement with the
city by providing poor customer service and allowing excessive delays in repair work.
"Hundreds of thousands of Los Angeles residents were ripped off," the Times quoted
Delgadillo as saying in a statement. "Time Warner must be held accountable for its
promises." According to the newspaper, the cable provider, which is in the process of being
spun off by parent Time Warner Inc., could face civil penalties amounting to tens
of millions of dollars.

Justin Timberlake - Timberlake To Wed Biel

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is set to propose to girlfriend JESSICA BIEL, according to reports.

The SexyBack star, 27, is rumoured to be on the verge of asking actress Biel, 26, to marry him, after dating for over a year.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Justin is 27 and thinking about marriage and kids. For the first time in his life he is feeling settled and has definitely decided to pop the question to Jessica.

"He is so happy with her. They spent quite a bit of time apart recently when Justin was working with Madonna. That made him certain Jessica was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with."

And Timberlake is rumoured to be considering the West Indian island of Mustique for the pair's nuptials, as the land's private ownership means paparazzi would be unable to take photos of the couple and their guests.

The source adds, "Although Justin has lived his whole life in the public eye, he feels his wedding is the one day that should remain private. To get all his close friends and family to Mustique will cost a fortune. But he can't put a price on how he feels about Jessica."

Harry Potter Author Fights Rip-Off Books

Author J.K Rowling is set to appear in a New York lawcourt on Monday in an attack to layover the publishing of 'The Chevvy Potter Lexicon', an unauthorized fan word and encyclopaedia based on her best-selling children's record serial publication.Steve Vander Ark of the Covenant has created the 400-page book along with a fan internet site, prompt both Rowling and Warner Bros. to eugene Sue to keep the rule book from sledding any further. Rowling stated in a resolution in the beginning this year that the she feels "intensely protective, firstly, of the literary earth I spent so long creating, and second, of the fans world Health Organization bought my books in such large number." The generator has said that she is planning on putt together her own Harry Putter encyclopaedia, with return to be donated to charity, and requests that Ark's "rip-off" ceases publication.
